Purple is passion in the garden. You can view purple in many ways; soft, light, dark, and vibrant alive purple. Purples create joy in the garden and create an atmosphere of happiness.
Generally, purple is more apparent in spring and summer gardens. Butterflies and hummingbirds are great lovers of purple, and travel from afar to enjoy them. If you are looking for a great color contrast to liven up your garden, just add purple. It works well alone or planted along side yellows, oranges, green, brown, or pink. Purples are readily available for spring and summer gardens through bulbs, perennials, shrubs, annuals, and herbs.
Our favorites;
Crocus, Remembrance, Buddleia Butterfly Bush, Black Night ,and Rhododendron, Purple Splendor.
