Yellow, A Primary Colour?

Pink is the most used colour, or should we say tint of red, in the garden. It lends itself well to both, the late spring and summer garden. It offers softness and beauty whether its in roses, geraniums, hydrangeas or sedums. When looking for colours to compliment your pinks, look for blues, greys and yellows. Green foliage creates a great opposite effect, while grey or white foliage is a nice softener. A bed of pinks and blues with a splash of yellow is a great eye catcher. There are thousands of ways to get pink in the garden through bulbs, annuals, perennials, shrubs and herbs.

Our favourites;
Rhododendron 'Anna Rose Whitney'
Rosa 'Celestial'
Sedum 'Autumn Joy'
Clematis "Nelly Moser"
Kalmia Latifolia
