Worms To The rescue

Not all of the creatures in your garden are bad; many are very beneficial. Next time you go to squash that spider or scare the snake think again! The list of beneficial insects and predators in our gardens is endless. Here are a few of the most common:

Snakes are very beneficial, since they eat insects, slimy slugs and mice. Spiders are extremely good at eating & keeping the insect population low. Lady Bugs are not only cute they also curb the aphid population. Bees are great, they aid in pollination. Worms are excellent aerators and aid in the composting process.

They all appreciate environmentally safe garden products! When using any pest control, opt for an organic solution. Better for the garden, the beneficial insects and for you.

Next time you see any of these creatures give them a wave and say thank you. They're working hard looking after our interests.
