Urban Greenary Nursery will again be offering a fantastic selection of roses. Each year I try to select new additions that are sure to be winners. As the customers will tell you, I am very partial to old-fashioned roses that are grafted on their own roots! We are offering 20 new varieties this spring. This month I have chosen to present to you a rose I just love! We have carried it in the nursery for three years and it continues to sell out.

Rosa Chinensis 'Mutabilis'

An old Chinese shrub rose, recently reintroduced by the University of British Columbia. A tender rose with slender deep red growth and pointed buds. The single flowers open coppery-yellow, changing to pink and then coppery crimson. A tri-colour effect, flowering continually throughout the summer 4' x 4' zone: 6
