Basella rubra - Red Malabar Climbing Spinach
Patio Perennials® introduces an amazing edible climbing spinach that remains sweet and tender all summer. This heat loving spinach climbs like a vine (four to six feet high and wide) and its new green foliage turns a rich deep burgundy. It also has beautiful blue flowers, making it a true 'incredible edible'.

Coprosma repens 'Rainbow Surprise'
Patio Perennials® introduced this fabulous plant last year, so look for this amazing rainbow of coloured foliage to be in greater demand this year. The bold summer foliage of cream and green variegated leaves tinged with pink hues, turn hot pink to red in the fall. Well suited to patio containers, its average height is 12 to 18". Hardiness zone 7-1/2 to 9.

Cotinus coggygria 'Gold Spirit' - Golden Smoke Tree
The first golden foliage Continus (Smoke Tree) growing 1.7 - 2 meters high and wide. The foliage is most vibrant in full sun and will flower with traditional 'smoke-like' plumes. Its autumn colouring is breathtaking with leaves turning red, orange and deep gold. This is the ultimate accent plant, blending beautifully with green, red and especially burgundy. Hardy to zone 5.

Euphorbia cyparissus 'Clarice Howard' - Fern-leaf Spurge
Fluffy and airy, this Patio Perennials® offers subtle texture in its deep blue-green, feathery foliage that is brushed plum. The unique flowers are yellow-green bracts, held in summer. Grows to 8-12in x 18in, therefore, contain its spread by sinking it in a pot in the garden, or plant in lower-quality soil. Hardy to zone 5.

Fuchsia magellanica 'Sharpton's' - Magellan's Golden Variegated Fuchsia
Gorgeous lime and gold-variegated foliage cover this shrubby Patio Perennials®. Dainty pendulous flowers, shell pink in colour, are like little ballerinas, and are produced throughout summer. Hardy to zone 7.

Gentiana scabra 'Blue' and 'Pink' - Scabra Shusui
These Patio Perennials® have either true blue or true pink trumpet shaped flowers that make a brilliant late display. Keep evenly moist and remove spent flowers for a continual show of flowers from late August through to October. This is a choice plant, suitable for the rock garden or the garden bed. Hardy to zone 7.

Heliotropium amplexiacaule 'Azure Skies' - Heliotrope 'Azure Skies'
Patio Perennials® introduces a new blue for your container or garden. Heliotrope 'Azure Skies' is a low growing, spreading heliotrope with light blue flowers. This US native is extremely heat tolerant and is hardy to zone 7. Use it in a border or a container, or save a big space in your garden for a sea of blue.

Heuchera 'Fireworks'
Enjoy 'Fireworks' all summer long. New from Patio Perennials®, this early blooming Heuchera sends up showers of coral-coloured blooms over dark green foliage from April until August. Use this compact variety to put on a show in your patio container, or light up a shady spot with a mass planting. Hardy in zones 4 to 9.
